Image 3: The original 4256 x 2832 pixel image was cropped to 1500 x 1000 px, extending the focal length to f = 200 mm √(4256² + 2832²) / √(1500² + 1000²) = 567 mm.

The crop factor or focal length multiplier of an image sensor format is the ratio of the dimensions of a camera’s imaging area compared to a reference format. Accordingly, the focal length multiplier of the D300 (sensor dimensions 23.6 mm x 15.8 mm) with respect to the the full-frame D700 (sensor dimensions 36 mm x 23.9 mm) is √(36² + 23.9²) / √(23.6² + 15.8²) = 1.52.
Image 5: By using the D300 instead of the full-frame D700, the focal lenght is extended to f = 200 x 1.52 = 304 mm.

Image 6: The original 4288 x 2848 pixel image was cropped to 1500 x 1000 px, extending the focal length to f = 304 mm √(4288² + 2848²) / √(1500² + 1000²) = 868 mm.

Image 4: The WB fine-tuning of the camera was set to b6 (maximum blue). This intensifies the color of the sky while not affecting the yellow of the rape field and the green of the grass.
